This past Saturday I had the pleasure of attending an event created specifically for my hair!
“The Black Hair Experience is an interactive adventure that combines a pop-up art exhibit and a series of instagrammable spaces all in the name of celebrating black hair”.
The entire experience was BEAUTIFUL, DOPE, & EMPOWERING! Being surrounded by some of the exhibit spaces made me feel appreciated and seen. I am so here for Black Hair being praised for its beauty, because there is no other hair like it!
Black women have been setting the tone of beauty for years. I’m glad this exhibit decided to step out and say “Black Hair Been Poppin”!
